Mirka Duijn began her career at the public broadcasting station VPRO Digital, experimenting with interactive broadcasting for television, web, and radio. Since then she has worked on a range of fiction and documentary films and interactive and experimental projects. Last Hijack Interactive (Submarine), a project in which she was involved as an interactive director, won the Prix Europa and the International Emmy Award for Best Interactive Documentary in 2015.
